Candidates will collaborate with HQ AMC elements and MAF units to establish approved operational capabilities and derive requirements for all air mobility operational components to include MAF weapon system platforms. Candidates will work in Air Mobility Command (AMC)/A3P using capability-based processes and tools to help integrate, implement, and institutionalize MAF operational requirements across the MAF. Responsibilities include: Supporting development of current and future MAF capabilities to include airlift, air refueling, and command and control (C2) of MAF forcesManaging and developing functional, technical, and analytical capabilities in support of AMC''s operational mission and visionEffectively communicating AMC/A3 capability-based requirementsIdentifying, tracking, and linking MAF Capability Gap initiatives to AMC prioritiesParticipating in AMC capabilities development working groupsAnalyzing and providing SME support to AMC/A3''s airlift and air refueling capability-based document developmentSupporting strategic planning for AMC and USTRANSCOM programs and weapon system platforms to meet global mobility requirementsCollecting, documenting, validating, and tracking AMC requirements development in concert with higher-level plans and programsProviding Capabilities Based Assessment (CBA) methodologies to capture and document MAF requirementsLeading/participating in approved MAF/AF/Joint corporate capability, requirements management, and Functional Control Board processesDeveloping formal capability documents and strategic plans supporting Program Objective Memorandum efforts for airlift, air refueling, command and control (C2), contingency response (CR), and information technology (IT) requirements Candidates must be able to navigate staffing processes and effectively communicate ideas across a range of organizations in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and will participate in training and tactics development for Mobility Air Forces at the tactical and operational levels. Positions are on site at Scott AFB, IL but may include occasional remote work.
