About KCWY: KCWY-TV News 13 is a full-service television station and the NBC and CW network affiliate serving the state of Wyoming with news, information and advertising. Job Summary/Description: This positions requires live reporting, creative shooting, writing, editing and posting stories. The ideal candidate will be an independent thinker, self-starter and team player who is ready to work with the news department and be able to communicate effectively with management, staff and our viewers. Must have good writing skills and must be able to work well under strict deadline pressure. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Shoot, write and edit sports stories and highlights with an emphasis on covering local sports- Write and post sports stories on multiple social media and digital platforms- Report live from various sporting events- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Edius or other video editing programs is a plus- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.- Schedule flexibility (Schedules can shift from time to time to other shifts and/or weekendsdepending on staffing)- Fill-in produce/anchor sports Qualifications/Requirements: - Degree in journalism, broadcasting, communications or related field If you feel you''re qualified and want to work with a great group of people go toyou may type in the job title, station call letters, or click on ''apply now'', upload your resume, cover letter and references Additional Info: Gray Television provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
