Our client is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer - Appian to work at their company in Alpharetta, GA.Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:A Software Development Engineer designs, develops, tests, installs, and maintains systems, applications, networks, and/or telecom and related processes to meet the functional objectives of the business. Assesses system, application, network, and/or telecom needs, provides modeling and simulation consulting to clarify client technology functionality, and evaluates and implement new advanced technologies. Ensures adherence to established technology standards and consults with senior leadership on technology solutions. Supports existing systems and is responsible for leading technical aspects of a project. Responsible for assigning resources and delegating tasks to meet project deliverables.Qualifications:Bachelor''s degree in computer, Information Technology, or related fieldEnd to End Delivery (requirements through deployment) experience of large and /medium scale Appian applications for 3+ yearsAppian Level 2 certification or higherKnowledge of Appian application performance and optimization2+ Years of development experience with an object oriented programming language like Java or .NETTechnical knowledge of Appian security controlsExperience of Agile delivery methodology and working knowledge of Jira/ Azure Devops or any other agile tool kitsPreferred:Level 3 certification (or commensurate level of Appian experience)Experience of business process and data modeling using mainstream tools (Visio, Aris, etc.)Knowledge of application design patterns
