Bell is seeking multiple Assembly & Integration Engineer (3DI Engineer) for the FLRAA V280 Program. The Assembly & Integration Engineer reports to the Assembly & Integration Team (AIT) Leader. Position Responsibilities: * Produce 3D layouts when needed to convey optimized routing or packaging concepts. * Produce and refine 3D layouts to optimize build and sourcing strategies. * Responsible for systems provisioning and coordinating interface requirements with Airframe Design and other Systems Design IPTs (Integrated Product Teams). * Establish and enforce systems installation requirements such as minimum line clearance and system separation. * Ensure compliance with DMU and 3D modeling standards. * Develop, test and document new procedures for relational design and model-based definition techniques for Catia V5/V6. * Responsible for overseeing the preparation, initial release, and revision of 3D installation datasets. * Coordinate system specific installation requirements and dataset approvals with Design IPTs and Certification Authorities. * Track and report progress to AIT Leader. Qualifications Education Requirements: * Bachelor''s Degree in Engineering, Math or Physics required. Focus on Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering is preferred. Position Requirements: * Experience at all levels will be considered with a minimum of 2 years of systems installation design experience with a working knowledge of electrical, fluid and mechanical routing requirements and installation hardware. Positions at various Engineering levels will be offered, depending on experience level. * Must be proficient in 3D modeling using CATIA V5 or later. * Must have a basic understanding of DMU (Digital Mock-Up) application and implementation. * Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. * Must have the ability to work well in a team environment to identify problems and develop solutions with minimum supervision. * Preferred Qualifications: * Prior experience with Model Based Definition. * Prior experience using Catia V5 FTA (Functional Tolerancing & Annotation) toolset. * Prior experience with Enovia Matrix One PLM system. * CJ Textron Relocation Assistance policy is in effect / applies for this position for candidates who qualify.
