Job Summary/Description: Do you want to be part of a passionate news team ready to build the flagship hometown station for Gray Television, the largest owner of top-rated local television stations and digital assets in the United States? We are expanding our investigative team and we are looking for an experienced investigative journalist who Invest in our community and culture, and we''ll invest in you. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Serve the Atlanta community through meaningful investigative journalism that uncovers wrongdoing, holds the powerful accountable, and gets results - Cultivate a network of sources- Create high-quality content for broadcast, digital, and social media platforms- Collaborate with the investigative team and news managers to build and evolve the station''s investigative brand - Provide investigative support as needed for daily news content Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor''s degree in related field- Minimum of 5 years experience as an investigative reporter in a medium or large market- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team- Proven track-record of generating meaningful investigative storylines and following through to achieve tangible results- Proficiency with investigative tools including, but not limited to, public records, data analysis, and source-development- Excellent time management, communication, writing, and a on-air skills If you feel you''re qualified and want to work with a great group of people go to you may type in the job title, station call letters, or click on ''apply now'', upload your resume, cover letter and references Additional Info: Gray Television provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
