Systems Engineer - Audio/Video Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Top Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25% Type of Travel: Continental US CACI is seeking a cleared Systems Engineer with Audio Video (A/V) experience to support our program in Omaha, NE. What You''ll Get to Do: * Define requirements, design and develop new audio/video distribution systems. * Assess current architectures for HW/SW limitations and designs complex computer system specifications supporting A/V system compatibility specifically for Crestron, Extron, Barco, Jupiter, Biamp etc. * Identify telecommunications, audio, video system hardware and software technical performance requirements/standards for current and proposed systems. * Analyze and resolve compatibility design deficiencies. * Perform design and integration activities for A/V systems. * Conduct independent technical investigations of A/V solutions. * Train staff in system repairs, operations, procedures and troubleshooting. * Core understanding of determining root cause of malfunctions and correcting them. * Read schematics and work plans. * Write customer system specific installation and operator maintenance manuals which include detailed drawings, test plans and procedures. * Coordinate the procurement of electrical components from commercial and DOD vendors to meet requirements. * Collaborate with engineering staff. More About the Role: This position requires 25% travel in the continental United States for various projects. You''ll Bring These Qualifications: * An active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.* BS/MS in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or equivalent experience. * Three plus years A/V system design and implementation. * Certified Crestron Programmer. These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have * MS in computer science, computer engineering or information systems. * Ten Years A/V system design and implementation experience. * Certified Crestron Programmer. * Military communications experience in a tactical environment. * Active DOD TS/SCI.
