Our main areas of focus are the Heavy Industrial and Manufacturing industries; specifically, Food/Beverage, Chemical, Petrochemical/Refining, Pharmaceutical, Power/Utilities, and Consumer Goods.TAI is currently seeking an experienced project manager to lead facilities, CapEx, and OpEx projects at the Walkersville location. The Project Manager will develop the project scope, obtain competitive bids, write Capital Appropriation Requests, develop capital project implementation plans and schedules, and manage the project team to deliver the project within guidelines of safety, cost, time, and quality. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Oversight, coordination and execution of capital and maintenance projects from inception to turnover to user groups, including project scoping, CAPEX document development and approval, construction/installation, commissioning, startup, and qualificationManagement and successful execution of projects using client procedures and industry best practices to the agreed upon scope, schedule, budget, and technical qualityResponsible for having an awareness of and ability to recognize technical problemsMonitors project budgets and schedules for trends/compliance to budget and prepare periodic reportsCoordinate reviews and checking of engineering deliverablesCoordinate the efforts of engineering support groups and external resources such as vendors, consultants and contractorsConduct project meetings and effective communications with user group and project stake holdersPrepare detailed project cost estimates and schedulesDefine project scope and develop preliminary engineering drawings such as general arrangements, P&IDs and PFDsQualifications/RequirementsBachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical)5+ years of experience in a Construction/Project Management capacity3+ years of experience managing projects within the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Life Sciences
