As a Medical Device Senior Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing complex Medical Device Control systems. You will demonstrate strong working knowledge of systems engineering, the desire to learn from new challenges and problem solving and communication skills to work within a highly interactive and experienced team. Candidates must show a hands-on passion for their work and be able to communicate their ideas and concepts both verbally and visually. Candidates must demonstrate an ability to integrate feedback and to respond quickly to changing contexts and work environments. Key job responsibilities: Demonstrate depth and breadth of technical expertise to participate in technical collaboration across domains Can identify and articulate the relationships and constraints between an architecture and its sub-systems Perform analyses across one or more technical dimensions and make cross-functional trade-offs Perform model-based design with Python, Matlab or other tools. Perform pneumatic, electronic and mechanical system simulation Identify and evaluate technical design options and best practices to satisfy design goals Identify missing requirements and when designs at the component and sub-system level do not meet requirements Perform and define tests and evaluate results; identify potential failures or shortcomings of designs, including risk assessments Investigate, prototype, and deliver new and innovative system solutions Mentor junior engineers in good practice, participate in hiring of new team members Qualifications: Master''s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Physics, or another STEM discipline 4+ years of experience as a systems engineer or equivalent Experience with developing mechatronic systems through multiple product lifecycles Experience with consumer safety standards and certification Experience with rapid iteration prototypes and joint hardware/software development Experience with consumer electronics product development Experience in C/C++ Experience in Python and/or other modern scripting and automation languages Experience with MATLAB, Simulink Experience with hardware interfaces, electronics schematics, and board bring-up Motor control experience (pulse width modulation, current sensing, encoders, etc.) Sensor experience (analog, digital, optical, calibration, filtering, etc.) Experience with embedded microcontroller systems Experience with hardware lab equipment (power supplies, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers) Telesair Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
