R-00088062 Description Job Description: Leidos is seeking to fill a Cyber Security Chief Engineer in the metropolitan Washington DC area. The successful candidate must be a highly experienced subject matter expert with knowledge that crosses multiple areas of specialization relative to threat intelligence, cyber operations, network security, cloud security and security engineering. Specific duties and responsibilities of the Cybersecurity Chief Engineer include: * Operates as the DHS cyber portfolio SME working across programs to ensure a high level of technical excellence among the TOs. This will include leading technical forums, working groups, and initiatives that span across the TOs * Acts as a technical liaison between the DHS cyber portfolio and Leidos to facilitate the consideration and integration of Leidos capabilities into the Programs * Will fill-in as senior level technical and program management positions across portfolio as needed * Supports business development for both new opportunities and on contract growth * Applies understanding of DHS organization and supports technical briefings to DHS stakeholders * Mentors less experienced teammates to build their own technical expertise. Impacts the achievement of client, operational, project, service, and risk management objectives. Requirements * Bachelors degree and 12 years of experience * CISSP * Secret or higher clearance and the ability to pass a DHS EOD and CBP BI * Ability and willingness to support on-site at all Program sites as needed. This includes Bluemont, VA, Alexandria VA, Arlington VA, Ashburn, VA, and Washington, DC * Experience with technologies SOAR, Tanium, Splunk, Jira, Linux, Python and other Cybersecurity tools * Experience with large DHS components such as CISA, ICE, USSS, CBP, HQ and/or FEMA is highly desired Pay Range: Pay Range $113,100.00 - $174,000.00 - $234,900.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
