Lockheed Martin is looking for an energetic and high performing Spacecraft Bus Responsible Systems Engineer (RSE) to join the Bus Center of Excellence (BusCoE) team in Denver, Colorado. As the Spacecraft Bus Responsible Systems Engineer (RSE), this position will be the technical lead for design and integration of a bus into a program spacecraft. Responsibilities include: • Ensuring the logical conversion of mission priorities into requirements and a total system solution • Establishing and implementing system CONOPS, performing system trades and analysis, flow down of requirements and interfaces, and supporting verification planning• Leading a team across all bus subsystems through rapid design, implementation, test, and launch of a Space Vehicle • Providing technical leadership of major design reviews such as SRR, PDR, and CDR• Ensuring appropriate rigor, consistency, and technical integrity in a fast-paced execution environment• Using excellent communication skills to build communication and integrated designs across subsystems Typically has 10 - 20 years of professional experience. Basic Qualifications:• Demonstrated experience working in a technical leadership role• Experience in one or more systems or subsystems areas such as RF, electronics, avionics, software, power, structures & mechanisms, Guidance Navigation and Control, systems architecture, CONOPS, or Assembly, Integration & Test• Experience with space-vehicle level payload/bus integration• Strong team collaboration, communication, and presentation skills• US Citizenship with ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance (clearance not required to start)Desired Skills:• Ability to lead multi-functional teams and lead multiple teams to communicate and coordinate work as one team with common goals• Spacecraft avionics, software or hardware/software integration experience• Experience executing system level integration, system level test, or mission operations• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very sophisticated problems and implement constructive change• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members, leadership, and customers• Ability to work in a fast-paced, synergetic team environment• Familiarity with LM400 Bus Product Line architecture • Active TS/SCI security clearanceBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.Qualifications Lockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
