Software Engineer with Security Clearance

Overview:G2 Global Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer to support a program with our customer. The project requires management and technical support to manage the project and to perform software development activities within budget in the area. Principle Responsibilities:* Complying with the Lean Agile methodology.* Participation in all Lean Agile scrums, sprints, and grooming sessions.* Perform Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) product integration and development efforts.* Ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.* Consultation and coordination for problem resolution, task scheduling, new resource requirements, and task clarification.* Work in partnership with an integrated team of staff and contractors.* Full understanding of the cloud environments.* Coordination and collaboration with security, operations, engineering, testing, and other teams to provide system information and technical support.* Create, manage, and update Jira tickets.* Design, develop and modify software systems.* Document and track vendor software roadmaps for software and patch version updates.* Unit testing of software and perform code reviews Required Skills:* Development of detailed design and associated deliverables.* Translating customer and system requirements into design.* Designing system interfaces.* Demonstrated experience developing Single Page Applications.* Hands-on experience developing RESTful web services using Java 8+ or other technologies such as Spring Framework 4+, or Spring Security 4+.* Background in working with non-relational database systems.* Hands-on experience with and troubleshooting of Internet and Web related protocols and technologies.* Abilities in developing JUnit and Jasmine tests.* Experience in testing platforms.* Knowledge of working with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Nexus Required Education:* Bachelors in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or similar degree* Minimum of 3+ years of solid work experience clearly reflected in resume About G2 Global Solutions:G2 Global Solutions, LLC.
