Job Description

Foley & Lardner LLP is currently looking for a Construction Project Manager to join our Facilities and Procurement team. The right candidate will manage all aspects of the firm''s facilities construction projects in any office. They will be responsible for participating in the design and development of new space or modifications to existing space, assessing needs and evaluating performance of the built environment, and planning for interior elements. The Project Manager will also create recommendations and manage the project on schedule, work with Technology on the infrastructure, monitor systems to provide a safe and efficient workplace, and ensure compliance with laws, codes, and standards relevant to our facilities. This person will have the opportunity to participate in selection of and direct activities of a wide spectrum of consultants, which includes developing strategies to improve functionalities of facilities. This individual will also facilitate floor plans and historical construction data.Manage and coordinate the openings, closings, moves, expansions and consolidations of all domestic and foreign offices in conjunction with the Chief Real Estate and Procurement Officer, General Contractors, Project Managers, Office Administrators and Regional Technology ManagersManage and coordinate the design, construction, facilitation, standardization, maintenance and renovations of all firm offices and office projects related to expansions, renovations, openings, mergers and moves in conjunction with the Chief Real Estate and Procurement Officer, Architectural and Engineering Consultants, and Project ManagersManage and coordinate the installations, consolidations and conversions of all office conference room, multi-media rooms, computer rooms and wiring distribution facilities, resulting from office projects in conjunction with the Chief Real Estate and Procurement Officer, Consultants, Project Managers, IT Directors, Regional Technology Managers, AV Ops TeamSupport and coordinate the installation and implementation of any new technology in the firms hosted data centers, computer rooms, wiring closets, and office technology installations in conjunction with firm Technology ServicesManage, document and maintain facilities floor plans, design standards, digital photos, equipment cabinet configurations, power and cooling requirements, wiring standards and emergency recovery binders in conjunction with the Chief Real Estate and Procurement OfficerResearch, recommend, and pursue quotes and pricing efforts in conjunction with annual Occupancy and Capital BudgetsManage, coordinate, and review contractor qualifications, bids, and schedulesManage the design, specification, procurement, and installation of office furniture for any / all projectsManage multiple parallel projects using formal project planning techniquesResearch, recommend, implement, and administrate specific project design and construction solutions and systems as assignedTrain and support local office and technology staff in conjunction with project design, construction, and deliveryDirect the activities of on-site and external consultants and contractorsPerform other evaluations, office, engineering, and system administration and installation tasks as directed by the Chief Real Estate and Procurement OfficerSome travel expected, with substantial travel required during project delivery and move phasesBachelors Degree required; Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field strongly preferredMinimum of five (5) years of experience in construction, architecture or project managementExperience with contractor bids, vendor contracts, negotiations and relations requiredExperience with the tools and CAD software applications required for the development and maintenance of technical drawingsAbility to read and understand construction drawings and knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing and electricalLI-HybridJob ID: 2022-2582 External Company Name: Foley & Lardner LLP External Company URL: Street: 2021 McKinney Avenue FLSA Status: Exempt Scheduled Hours: 40+
