We believe in helping people grow, develop and achieve their professional goals, so when you join the IOA team you truly become a partner in our shared success.We''re looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our Longwood, Florida branch team.Legal Assistant success factors include:Making copies, Scanning documents, sending DocumentsAbility to compose routing correspondence and documents for attorney reviewAbility to maintain calendars and set appointmentsManage legal documentation and correspondence in strict confidenceAbility to assist with gathering responsive documents to third-party subpoena requestsAbility to assist on various projects in order to get required results in timely manner and by deadline(s)Qualified candidates will have:1-3 years'' experience performing duties in a litigation firm setting or insurance broker firmType 40 wpm+Ability to multi-taskHigh degree of detail orientationWell-developed verbal, listening, and written communication skillsMust be organized and able to assist in overall department organizationAbility to review legal billsExperience in proof reading and assemblyExcellent time-management and ability to multi-taskAbility to work independently, or as a team playerAbility to maintain a professional appearance and mannerAbility to contend with a wide variety of people on various issuesAbility to work with constant interruptions and display patiencePerform Legal research skills including insurance regulatory issuesAbility to show use of Discretion and Judgment and use problem solving skillsStrong Computer Skills including Microsoft Office programs - must be proficient in Word and Excel.Ability to become adaptable and willingness to learn new skill set(s)If you''re ready to take a leap forward in your career, please click below to apply.
