Tier III HBSS Engineer with Security Clearance

Job Description The Tier III Host Based Security Systems (HBSS) Engineer will be responsible for facilitating the integration of Security Operations processes and the HBSS/ESS environment for the USCENTCOM enterprise. Key Tasks and Responsibilities• Meet with business users to gather requirements and make recommendations for meeting customer requirements within the Security Information Management (SIM)• Lead the development of the specific content necessary to meet the organization''s security operations goals, to include: the formation of content-specific queries, templates, reports, rules, alerts, dashboards, and workflows• Integrate data and event feeds with Organizational Security Information Event Management Systems.• Review policies and exceptions for the various HBSS modules and provide best practice recommendations for emerging Attack/Vulnerability landscape• Ability to envision, develop, coordinate, prioritize, lead, and motivate individual and team efforts to produce required and timely customer solutions.• Superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills at the system engineer level.• Strong interpersonal skills to support multi-tier communications with both technical and non-technical professionals and solid overall communications and technical writing skills.• Passion for the customer which is demonstrated through professionalism and striving for excellence in all aspects of the customer experience. Job Requirements Education & Experience• Bachelor''s degree (preferably in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Systems) and ten years of related work experience. Must have a minimum of 3 years'' experience using Host Based Security Systems• Minimum of 5 years of relevant and progressively increasing responsibility and achievement on IT networking projects.• Experience using a SIEM/SOAR platform to detect and respond to security events and traffic monitoring Certifications• 8570 IAT-2 (Security +)• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)• DISA HBSS 201/301/501 Administration Courses Security Clearance• Candidate must have a Top Secret Clearance with ability to be cleared to Top Secret/SCI. Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)• All positions on this contract are considered deployable, with potential travel both CONUS and OCONUS; as such, possession and maintenance of a current U.S. passport is required.
