Merchandising Coordinator - Watch SpecialistReis-Nichols has an opening for a Merchandising Coordinator - Watch Specialist to support the organization by processing inventory, placing special orders, taking physical inventory, tagging inventory, typing appraisals, etc. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to concentrate on the task at hand, perform accurately, and meet productivity goals of the department. Because of the high volume of expensive merchandise flowing through this department, the Merchandising Coordinator must always demonstrate a high degree of honesty and trustworthiness. About the Job:Receive and Conduct the Pre-Owned Watch Process: Quality check merchandise received against purchase orders. Process inventory receipts, and print and attach the necessary inventory tags. Receive trade-in items and returns, check quality to make sure the merchandise is up to company standards, establish pricing from appropriate personnel, and prepare items for sale on the showroom floor. Once received, report to leads online, maintain trade spreadsheet and type description in Brilliant.Website Contributions: Writes website descriptions for pre-owned watches and ensures pictures are website ready.Oversee Chrono 24 and EbaySpecial orders: Place, enter, monitor, and update special orders in a timely manner. Receive, process and prepare special orders to process. Physical Inventory Counts: Prepare for, perform, and reconcile physical inventory counts according to the corporate schedule and in an accurate and timely manner.Watch Department Support: Supports Watch Department as needed including overall organization of department, puts away boxes and catalogs, maintains watch closet and assists in display setup.Appraisals: Prepare appraisals accurately and on a timely basis. Research any that need updating.Backup: Serve as a backup and additional support for other Merchandising personnel. While the above functions may be divided and assigned to various individuals, all employees in the Merchandising department may be called upon to perform any or all these activities at any given time.Misc.: Other duties as assigned Typical work hours are Monday thru Friday 8:30-5:00. Weekends & longer work hours will be expected during peak times.
