Specifically, your mission will be to design, build, deploy and customize complex technical solutions to accelerate and streamline software application delivery and system integration projects. Our clients look to us to solve their problems not just deploy software they could do themselves so this means you''ll be expected to build custom frameworks, tools and utilities such as custom automation drivers, JSON and XML parsers, integrations between tools and extend existing frameworks to provide new, cutting edge technologies.Your Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will lead teams through the technical design, build, implementation and operationalizing complex technical solutions. You will need to ask better questions to truly understand our client''s "why" and develop better answers by drawing on your experience in consulting and technology.Create and articulate innovative solutions that add value to our clients and differentiate EYBe a champion for our thought leadership and leading capabilities internally and externallyDevelop relationships and communicate effectively with client peers and executivesLook beyond deliverables to understand client needs and pain pointsLead US and global teams of 2 - 10 members in client projectsSkills and attributes for successTo be successful, you must understand your purpose and passion and how to apply that to your work. This includes:Being a passionate technologist, innovator and solution builderBeing a leader and mentor to build and nurture high performing teamsUnderstanding your role is not "just testing"Take ownership of your power to impact the success of our clients and EY by living our purpose statementExperience in conceptualizing, building, implementing and operationalizing technology solutions to work smarter, not harderTo qualify for the role you must haveBachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and approximately 3 years of relevant work experiencePassion and interest for solving problems using technologySeeing problems as challenges and opportunities, not roadblocksTechnical experience with all aspects of the software lifecycle including design, architecture, development and testingExperience in creative solutions leveraging easily accessible technology (cloud provider offerings, open source technology and common technology tooling)3 years of experience and strong knowledge in Java and OOP conceptsCommon Java libraries and concepts such as linked hash maps, serialization, polymorphism, etcDesign principles (such as SOLID) and architecture best practicesAt least 2 years of experience in consultingclient relationship building and becoming their trusted advisorsexecutive communicationAt least 2 years of experience in test automationautomation strategy, approach and solutioningtest automation using tools such as Junit, Selenium, RESTAssuredAt least 2 years of experience with at least 3 of these concepts:Design, implementation and usage of complex test automation frameworksData querying (Example: SQL)Data analytics and statistics (variant distribution, data sampling, trend analysis, predictive modeling or forecasting)Any sub-area or use case of Artificial Intelligence (machine learning, natural language processing, etc)CICD implementations and tools (example: Jenkins, Ansible, GitLab)Working knowledge in web technologies such as Angular, React, HTML/CSS, etcIdeally, you''ll also havePost-COVID, we would expect for you to be available to travel outside of your assigned office location up to 50% of the time, plus commute within the region. Successful candidates must work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
