Job Description

Job Overview: To ensure that accounting functions are completed in a timely manner and according to established policies. Responsibilities and Duties:• Ensure that all accounts are in balance.• Handle accounts payable. Includes tracking system for receipt, approval, prompt transmission on appropriate summary forms. Research past due invoices. Maintain accurate records for transmittals and vendor files. • Handle payroll duties• Compile information for corporate audit packs.• Verify phone revenue and pay tv revenue.• Post city ledger payments.• Prepare change orders.• Prepare daily deposits and count the safe daily.• Verify contents of safe with GM.• Post charge and banquet tips.• Maintain file of tax exemption certificates.• Maintain over/short log for each shift each day.• Report Food and Beverage receipts.• Assist with Profit and Loss Program.• Ensure proper End of Month reporting.• Perform other related duties as assigned.
