OverviewAt Ebenezer, our Chefs/Cooks enjoy a robust compensation package and earn an additional $2 per hour over the course of the first year.We are looking for a Chef/Cook to support our Assisted Living Community. This role is responsible for ensuring that meals are prepared and presented in accordance with applicable regulations and resident expectations. This cook position includes; casual/on-call (able to pickup shifts ahead of time to fill in for pre-planned needs or help with last minute support)day/evening shifts3 shifts a month, 1 being on the weekend. 1 holiday a yearAmira Choice Roseville at Lexington Senior Living is in the heart of Roseville, MN near public transportation. Ensure timely production and meal service is provided to residents Set up line service Clean and sanitize equipment and work area after each use Assists with special events Assists Culinary Director with supervision and training of culinary staff QualificationsRequired: ServSafe certification, or must be obtained within 90 days of start date Basic math skills and must be comfortable using Microsoft applications Must have good problem solving and time management skills Good written and oral communication skills Preferred: Vocational/technical training/education/degree High School Diploma/GED preferred High volume cooking experience in a similar environment Scratch cooking experience
