The VDC Coordinator /Sr. Coordinator in Stanton Tennessee will be the technical subject matter consultant and responsible for facilitating the BIM process for a once-in-a-lifetime transformational construction project! This is a full-time role on a 2-3 year project with future assignments potentially at other customer locations. ResponsibilitiesActs as a primary technical resource regarding BIM/CAD workflowsMaintains effective relationships with design, project, and client teamsFacilitates BIM process integration and BIM Execution Plan adherenceAdvanced knowledge of 3D/4D/5D BIM processesFully comprehends all of the LOD BIM SpecificationsDaily use of Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Assemble and Bluebeam platformsMust know how to extract quantities from 3D models to assist estimators with cost trackingMust be able to assist team members with VDC related responsibilitiesQualificationsMinimum of 3 years of related experience in the following:Experience with manufacturing plant BIM MEP/FP CoordinationHands on application of Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Assemble, and BluebeamExperience with Navisworks clash detection reporting and managing resolutions to clash issuesKnows BIM 360 Software and workflowsUnderstands BMS/FM processes and how they interface with model data for asset trackingKnowledge of design and field construction processesConstruction logistic plan creation (2D or 3D) for visual process information conveyanceAble to convert 2D sketches or drawings into 3D modelsAdditional Skillsets considered a plus, but not required:3D scanning and point cloud registrationFAA Part 107 Certified Drone PilotSynchro 4D animation developmentCreation of renderings, animations and VR sessions using 3DS-Max with VRay and/or Unity3D MEP modeling with Civil 3D, Revit or other software related platformsBachelor''s in Architecture, Engineering, Industrial Administration, Construction Management or Construction related field,orMEP/FP Trade School Graduate.
