Infotainment Engineer

Our client, one of the leading and world''s biggest car manufacturers, is looking to hire an Infotainment Engineer!This is a hybrid position As an Infotainment Engineer, you will be part of a team that focuses on the series development and support of electronic systems with a particular emphasis on US, Canadian, and Mexican markets. You will participate in all aspects of testing including reviewing requirements, writing manual test cases, executing tests, investigating problems, identifying solutions, and continuously seeking improvements. They are looking for someone with experience in software testing or software development. As well as knowledge of embedded and integrated automotive systems. Responsibilities:Create and update test procedures, plans, and test routes with a focus on North American market specifications to efficiently carry out laboratory and field testsPartner with the development department for test, launch, and series support of electronic car systemsWork with automotive suppliers in the testing of hardware and softwareError and Bug-Fix verification and prepare regular project status reportsEnsure accuracy and functionality of test setups (systems and vehicles).Prepare vehicles for test drivesInstall, package, and integrate new prototype units into carsUse state-of-the art testing, logging, and analysis toolsQualifications:Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related fieldPrior experience in software testing or software developmentPrior experience working at an OEM or with tier-1 suppliers is a plusTravel as needed within the U.S. to support test drives, and project specific training activities
