ESS Analyst Tier 1 with Security Clearance

NexGen Data Systems is seeking an experienced Endpoint Security Solution (ESS) Analyst to provide support in a Data Center environment. The ESS Analyst will coordinate with System Owners and other relevant commands for acquisition and analysis of ESS data and to ensure ESS is fully deployed. Provide technical subject matter expertise on ESS, configuration and baseline management. Candidates should have experience with hardening and maintaining security posture of Windows and UNIX environments utilizing DoD approved tools to include McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), Endpoint Security (ENS), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Rogue System Detection (RSD), Policy Auditor (PA), and McAfee Application Control (MAC) Roles and Responsibilities: Configuring systems to Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) standardsValidating and coordinating all ESS scheduled maintenanceCreate custom queries Maintaining and administering the Enterprise computing systems to meet the DoD mandated security requirements and directivesUtilize ITSM Remedy ticket softwareReview ESS dashboard and analyzing resultsAnalyze and monitor events and alerts; reporting as neededCreate maintenance windows via manual tagging or automated server taskConduct point product repairGenerate compliance reports and deliver to customerConduct basic troubleshooting and remediationOther Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
