NexGen Data Systems is seeking an experienced Endpoint Security Solution (ESS) Analyst to provide support in a Data Center environment. The ESS Analyst will coordinate with System Owners and other relevant commands for acquisition and analysis of ESS data and to ensure ESS is fully deployed. Provide technical subject matter expertise on ESS, configuration and baseline management. Candidates should have experience with hardening and maintaining security posture of Windows and UNIX environments utilizing DoD approved tools to include McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), Endpoint Security (ENS), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Rogue System Detection (RSD), Policy Auditor (PA), and McAfee Application Control (MAC) Roles and Responsibilities: Configuring systems to Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) standardsValidating and coordinating all ESS scheduled maintenanceCreate custom queries Maintaining and administering the Enterprise computing systems to meet the DoD mandated security requirements and directivesUtilize ITSM Remedy ticket softwareReview ESS dashboard and analyzing resultsAnalyze and monitor events and alerts; reporting as neededCreate maintenance windows via manual tagging or automated server taskConduct point product repairGenerate compliance reports and deliver to customerConduct basic troubleshooting and remediationOther Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Desired/Required Skills: The candidate should have the following specialized certification(s):o ESS Certification (ESS 201, 301) or able to obtain within 60 days of start dateo Certification for Microsoft Windows or able to obtain within 60 days of start dateo Certification for Redhat is preferredSystem administration experience on the following platforms: Microsoft Windows, Redhat Linux, and Solaris 3+ years Experience configuring systems to Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) standards Secret clearance or higher preferred8570 compliance (Active Security and OS certifications)Cisco Networking experience (Router, Switch, Firewall, VLAN configuration) preferredExperience with virtual platforms necessaryExperience with ITSM preferredExperience supporting production environments preferredExperience with Navy Computer Network Defense (CND) architectures preferred About the Company:NexGen Data Systems is an emerging technologies focused company providing expert systems and network engineering solutions to the Department of Defense.
