Location:1000 South McCaslin Boulevard - Superior, Colorado 80027Not ready to return to the office full time? This position is Mobile by Design with 4 days work from home and 1 day working from the KeyBank office. This position maybe filled at a job grade 20, 21, or 23 depending on experience. Job DescriptionLeasing Services is a division of Key''s Technology & Operations (KTO) group and is comprised of several teams that provide post-booking servicing (Customer Service, Collections, Collateral Services, Payment Processing, Funding, Booking and Account Maintenance) for the Key Equipment Finance (KEF) line of business. KEF provides tailored equipment lease and structured finance solutions for mid-to-large commercial, government and specialty finance clients. The Collections Specialist will be responsible for engaging with internal and external clients through a variety of channels (including telephone, e-mail, face to face) in order to manage delinquencies and resolve inquiries related to any delinquent accounts.Experience and Education:* 1+ year of experience in a related field* High School Diploma or equivalent work experience requiredSkillsets Required at all Specialist Levels* Works well with others in a fully developed team environment* Open minded and adaptable to new ideas in a changing environment* Exceptional attention to detail* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications* Proficient in 10-Key, able to perform with a high degree of speed and accuracy* Proven ability to handle monetary/ processing functions independently* Proven ability to handle high transaction volumes accurately and meet production goalsEssential Job Functions* Administers moderate procedures, analysis, tasks and reporting while receiving limited instructions for filing, recording, processing, servicing, recording, and/or organization of documentation associated with a product or process* Reviews and ensures proper documentation or procedures are used for moderate activities* Identifies and resolves moderate issues by following established guidelines. Refers more complex problems to Senior level or supervisor. May provide service in relation moderate complex billing inquiries, service requests, suggestions and complaints from customers* Uses some independence of thought to resolve basic issues, and refers more complex problems to supervisors or other experts.* Recommends and implements programs to solve routine issues, contributes to work flow or process change and redesign, and forms a foundational/basic understanding of the specific product or process* Accountable for regular reporting and analysis requests* Typically covers a broad range of responsibilities rather than focusing on one specific role.* Is fully proficient in duties while working under moderate to limited supervision.* Other duties as assigned* Ability to recognize payment issues and work through the issues to get to payment* Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines* Ability to speak persuasively and listen critically* Ability to work in a Call Center environment* Document all communications with business owners related to discoveries and investigations* Offer assistance to the Senior members on the team to create supportive foundation* Identify and propose improvement activities in all collection areas with the objective of achieving goals set for process efficiency and managing risk within established standards.Differentiating Skills* Proven strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills* Good judgement and decision making skills, basic leadership skills* Ability to identify issues and demonstration of basic analytical, research and problem resolution skills* Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems and applications, utilizing resources to solve routine challenges* Moderate knowledge of banking policies, procedures, government regulations* Ability to perform moderate scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance functions* Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle routine/occasional customer service inquiries independently* May train or assist in training new staff* Ability to work with minimal supervision in decision makingSoft Skills* Works well independently* Intermediate problem solving* Collaborative approach; inclusive* Resilient; change-ready* Works well under pressure* Emotional intelligenceCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS • This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $18.60 to $29.26 hourly depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
