Position: Control Systems Senior EngineersStart Date: AsapLocation: Cape Canaveral, FloridaContract Length: 4-5 MonthsWe are looking for hire a few Control Systems Senior Engineers to join our ever growing team. You will be joining a world class company who is among the most respected engineering, project management, and construction companies in the world. They operate through four global business units that specialize in infrastructure; mining and metals; nuclear, security and environmental; and oil, gas, and chemicals.Job Responsibilities:Review and prepare higher tier engineering documents and drawings related to the Control Systems engineering discipline.Properly interpret and apply codes & standards and customer design requirements in the preparation of Control Systems design products.Coordination with other engineering disciplines, review project design criteria, vendor drawings/manuals etc.Coordinate technical issues with Startup & Commissioning and provides assistance to Construction in the field.Contributes to maintaining the project''s instrument database using automated toolsAchieve work process improvement and promote continuous work process improvement.Demonstrate leadership qualities with emphasis on continuous improvement and team building, and interpersonal communication skillsBasic Qualifications:US Citizenship.BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical sciences or equivalent degree plus a minimum of six (6) years related professional design experience.Must have six (6) years of experience developing, checking and reviewing Control Systems Engineering documentation for detail design.Hands on Microsoft office programs and other computer programs.Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check which includes verification of employment and education.Must have at least six (6) years of experience in Control Systems Engineering developing documentation for Final Design.Familiar with facility design (e.g. industrial, nuclear, nuclear waste or defense facilities).Excellent written and oral communication abilities along with effective presentation skills.Working knowledge of VISIO CADD and/or PDS 2D.Skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Access and PowerPoint.Knowledge of Control Systems Engineering work processes, procedures, specifications.Preferred Qualifications:Previous DOD or DOE project experience.Experience implementing DOE Std. 1195 and ISA S84.Prior work experience working to budgets and tracking cost/schedule performance.PE Registration.Familiar with design of Safety Instrumented Systems.
