Welcome to Bosch.Job DescriptionElectronic Controls Development & Electrical of HVAC water source systems, including Design & Testing of Electrical Boxes, Layout, Harnesses, Specifications and Optimizations of System and Components. System Electronic Control Strategy & Component Selections including Blowers, MotorsMotor Control / Inverter Experience (System Optimization, Specifications, Testing )Able to understands the regulations and transfer the understanding to preventive actions or to validation programsKnowledge of HVAC regulations and Regulatory bodies (UL,ETL, AHRI, IEC)Testing and System Optimization (Simulation & Lab Testing)Perform engineering modifications & Update drawings & processes.Technical data, material specifications, BOM, wiring diagrams, drawings, test plans.Support unit rating, qualification, and reliability testingElectrical and Electronics support of new & existing ProductsElectrical designs including cable harnesses & routings, component specs,Engineering Product design and developmentWrite Reports, Document Data and Communicate FindingsOwnership to resolve technical problems or prompt response to address issues and escalate as neededAdhere to Safety & Security ProtocolsProactively identify and address product design issues that adversely affect product operationBe a team player within cross function teams, understand multi-discipline needs (Engineering, Marketing, Assembly, Logistics, Purchasing,..etc ) and support them as neededSupport cross functional teams including designers, CAD, Lab Technicians, ManufacturingSupport Product & Project tasks such as testing, lab and manufacturingQualificationsB.A in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics (Electrical, Software, Controls)2+ years Electronics and System Performance ExperienceAbility to work with multiple teams & disciplinesStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to communicate engineering requirements.Take Ownership and Follow Task to Completion (Quality, Time, Cost)Ability to provide support and assistance, co-workers as appropriateElectrical/ Electronic Circuit & System AnalysisPreferred Qualifications:Experience in some of the following areas a plusProgramming and Data Management.Knowledge of NEC, UL and any other applicable electrical and safety codesKnowledge of HVAC concepts and systems, electro-mechanical and direct digital controlMechatronics Experience including Blowers & MotorsQuality awareness and knowledge of quality tools (8D, problem solving, failure rate prognosing,etc)Data Analysis ( Excel, Programming languages, ...etc )Platform and Variant Bill Of Material Development, Design and DocumentationFailure Mode and Effects Analysis ( FMEA).All applicants must complete assessment: InformationIndefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
