Job Profile Summary:Oversees the management of the monitoring and evaluation process to ensure Elecnor Hawkeye''s quality management systems are followed and evidence is recorded and maintained.Coordinate, improve and develop the existing QMS with Elecnor Hawkeye''s parent Company QMS.Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies.Assist project teams in setting up site-specific quality plans, holding points, and preparing for project kick-off and pre-job planning meetings. Assist in identifying the proper Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and other documentation for the project.Support the project team in the development and implementation of project quality plans and supplemental procedures as needed.Facilitate resolution of issues by working with the Project Managers.Monitor and report quality incidents to the district.Oversee code compliance for work.Assist in coordinating authorized inspection services for the projects.Research and answer technical questions; assist in the interpretation of construction codes and standards.Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization.Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends.Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.May have budget responsibilities.Manages the coordination of activities of a group or department with responsibility for results.Responsible regional Quality teams and having direct reports to Management.Minimum RequirementsBA/BS Civil/Electrical Construction Engineering or similar educational background.10 years of relevant experience in Construction Quality Control.2 years of leadership/managerial experience.OR: Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Preferred QualificationsExperience in construction quality assurance.Experience in construction quality control in: Reinforced Concrete; Structural Steel & Welding, structures assembly, GAS piping, Electrical works, Overhead lines construction, Substation Construction and Testing & Commissioning.4 years of construction experience (including 1 year as a QC representative) on construction projectsOSHA 30.Experience in Construction Project Management.Experience in field-testing and construction engineering.Experience with technical reports.Experience in the management of third party inspections.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).Experience in the management of QC preconstruction of subcontractors and subcontractor pleted CQM for Contractors Course (expires after 5 years)Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiativeStrong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first timeDemonstrated commitment to ethics and integrityPassion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurtStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsTeam player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
