Job DescriptionJob Title: Sr. Software and Machine learning Engineer - HardwareLocation: Santa Clara, CADuration: 6+ Month Responsibilities• Support new technology initiatives and implement leading-edge technologies with best practices - focus onsoftware systems• Help develop software for computer systems research involving design space exploration, hardwaresoftware co-design, computer vision, machine learning and other research domains• Design and implement demonstration systems; create new features, from a technical specification or areference implementation; conduct demo system maintenance and bug fixing• Prototype, implement and evaluate application algorithms; optimize application or algorithm performancethrough analysis, code refactoring, and system tuning• Optimize models and algorithms until they reach desired evaluation metrics• Communicate complex ideas and testing results effectively, both orally and in writingQualifications• Combination of experience and degree (a BS, MS or PhD) in Computer Science, Electrical/ComputerEngineering, or related fields• 3+ years software development with hands-on experiences in a software/machine learning engineering role• Proficient and productive in programming languages - e.g., Python, C/C++ - with an ability to learn new languages and systems• Experience with ML/DL algorithms with frameworks such as Tensorflow, Pytorch, Scikit-learn, Spark MLlib.• Experience with VLSI, ASIC design is a plus• Experience with Linux and Docker environments is a plus• Advanced understanding of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques, and the ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical problems• Strong sense of product ownership and business impact, eagerness to learn new technologies, excellent oral and written communication skillsThanks & RegardsAmardeep Paul - provided by Dice
