Successful and rapidly growing company is looking for a Production Manager to add to their management team. The company is a ASME equipment manufacturer that engineers and builds vessels for the Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, Aerospace and Food & Beverage industries. If you like to work on unique products that are used to put humans on mars and help manufacture COVID vaccines and are passionate about production, then this is your job. The company makes everything in-house and prides themselves on top quality and cutting edge designs. Their products are in such high demand that they expect to double-triple in size in the coming few this position, you will guide the company through this period of rapid growth, from buying new machines and property to designing new processes with the team. You will report directly to the founder/president of the company and will be part of the management team. You will lead a growing team of 15+ employees and your function will be critical for the future success of the company.Location: OxnardSalary: $ 120,000- $ 180,000 (DOE)Benefits: extensive health benefits, dental, vision, 401K, vacation and othersResponsibilities:Lead a growing team of 15+ employees in manufacturingReport directly to the Founder/PresidentWork closely with other departments like Engineering, QC and Shipping/ReceivingResponsible for planning, directing and coordinating the efficient operations of the production facility in order to produce high quality finished productsEvaluate financial information, including budgets, and manage resources to plan production.Guide the company through rapid manufacturing expansionLead daily operations, including the use of materials, equipment and other resourcesLead weekly production meetings to discuss all customer projects (deadlines, progress, quality, engineering changes, next steps).Coordinate biweekly meetings with key departments to develop, monitor and evaluate Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure timely delivery of projectsPartner with engineering to plan productionCreate production shifts that optimally utilize labor and machine capacity.Plan and advise management on new machines, process and resources needed to meet future customer demands.Visit customer offices if needed.Requirements:At least 5 years experience leading a production team, Preferably in stainless steel manufacturingBachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering or technical degree from four-year college or university OR have significant work experience in manufacturing, welding, metal fabrication, and machining experience.Experience with pressure vessel manufacturing is a big plusExperience with (stainless steel) welding manufacturing is a big plusConfident, charismatic leaderProven experience planning manufacturing resources (labor, machines, materials) and meeting project deadlinesProven experience in project managementExcellent communication skillsEntrepreneurial spiritMust be a highly motivated self-starterProficient in relevant software, working within ERP Systems, must be highly proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.The company offers an extensive benefit package.CONTACT US FOR MORE DETAILS
