Chinese Mandarin Linguist with Security Clearance

Position Overview We are searching for a Chinese linguist with Mandarin dialect. This position is supporting Defense Intelligence Agency at Quantico, VA. Responsibilities Linguists will work in a very fast-paced, fluid environment. This role may require working occassional nights or weekends. Linguists are required to perform a broad range of tasks, no just translation. This role will require regular use of Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat as well as a variety of customized tools and databases. Required Qualifications * A current, active TS/SCI. Avantusclearedjob * Will be required to complete a CI Poly before employment. * Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) Level 3 (General Professional Proficiency) or above in both English and the target language. The client requires current test scores of ILR 3 or higher in reading, writing, listening, and speaking for both the target language and English. * Specific experience performing written translation into English * Deep regional expertise * Moderate to advanced computer skills * Successful Completion of Pre-Employment Background Investigation required * The status of applicable COVID-19 vaccination requirements under Executive Order 14042 are subject to change depending on applicable court orders and the course of ongoing litigation.
