Visit for more details. Responsibilities You will support a large SETA contract responsible for the complete end-to-end life cycle of the customer''s Ground Enterprise. The Project performs technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for critical government system s . A s SETA''s we assist government procurement agencies develop acquisition strategies, work statements, evaluation plans and qualify vendors. We are involved through the entire acquisition life cycle, from pre-award planning through solicitation preparation, contract award, contract administration and contract close-out. We support system cradle to grave and everything in between. We work to constantly improve acquisition policy and procedures to devise strategies for deploying and implementing new acquisition initiatives and measuring the effectiveness of these implementation s a s part of the system acquisitions we support the develop ment acquisition plans, source selection documents, Independent Government Cost Estimates (ICE), justifications and approvals, synopses, and requests for proposals/quotes/bids. We assist in the development of acquisition packages that include but are not limited to Request for Changes (RFCs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and development contracts. You will be expected to lead and/or support various program technical and management forums and meetings to include Engineering Review Board (ERBs), Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and Business Management reviews (BMRs) and Project Readiness Reviews. What You''ll Get to Do : You will be a Senior Program/Project Manager providing System Engineering & Technical Assistant (SETA) support for the acquisition of ground systems cooperatively with government, FFRDC, and other SETA contractors. You should have a strong background in strategic acquisitions. You will be responsible for: * Large development contract management * Advise Senior and Mid-Level Contract Officer Technical Representatives (COTR) on acquisition decisions to include investment strategies, port folio priorities, and risk assessment of project execution * Provide expert program management execution support * Act as the right hand to Senior and mid-level COTRs to steer/direct programs * Actively manage large programs with emphasis on mission closure and milestone achievement * Provide technical and cost assessment of developer proposals, technical reports, design artifacts, and program plans You will have the opportunity to drive innovation across the organization al enterprise . You es tablish and coordinate development of standards, practices, and procedures as related to the overall product development including changes to current government processes . You d esign interfaces and bring system elements together, so they work as a whole across the entire enterprise . Qualifications Required: * Requires 10 to 12 years with BS or 8 to 10 years with MS or 6 to 8 years with PhD. * TS/SCI w/CI poly * Experience in engineering and or acquisition of Intelligence Community (IC) and or DoD spacecraft systems * Knowledge of IC and or DoD acquisition roles, processes, and program management * Demonstrated ability to work in a fast pace, dynamic and energetic environment with excellent communication skills * Good working knowledge of MS Office application These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: * BS in Engineering, Computer Science or related field (Aerospace, Electrical, Math or similar technical degree) * Experience with IC and or DoD space architecture * Experience working within or closely with Acquisition O ffices
