This is not your typical nursing job. Youll travel to client homes primarily within Monroe & Ontario County area. Duties include performing staff supervision/on the job training in client homes, and conducting client assessments.This is the perfect opportunity for a retired RN that still wants to make a difference in their community! Also great for RNs looking to pick up extra hours, or for RNs looking to work around school schedules. Per diem hours offer great flexibility!Job Opening:RN SupervisorBranch:Canandaigua, NYStatus:Per Diem about 15-20 hours a week, primarily weekday daytime hours, flexible scheduling we will work with your availability!Rate:$30 $35 / hour (depending on home care experience)Per NYS DOH mandate, all home care agency staff must be fully vaccinated against COVID, unless they have a medical exemption from their doctor. Boosters encouraged.Reliable vehicle & valid drivers license are a must for this position.DUTIES:Responsible for ensuring that home care clients served by CareGivers receive the highest quality care by ongoing assessment of the client, supervising the implementation of the physicians plan of treatment, developing a plan of care and evaluating client needs and employee performance.Additional duties may include med setups for clients, and performing insurance assessments.QUALIFICATIONS:Must be a Registered Nurse currently licensed in New York State, with at least one year experience as an RN (recent experience preferred)At least six months of supervisory experience is preferredCurrent certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is required.Knowledge of home health regulations is preferred but not required.Must have strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a flexible schedule.Must meet health requirements.Reliable vehicle and valid drivers license required.**COVID-19 Safety:We are following CDC and Department of Health guidance, and provide our staff with all necessary PPE, including masks, gloves, and face shields.
