JTT has an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Information Systems Security Engineer. This is an immediate fill, funded position on a multi-year project. Required skills: - Ability to produce technical artifacts needed in RMF Steps 1, 2, 3, and 4- Operate security tools including ACAS, NMAP, Wireshark, and/or SRR scripts, and perform Security Controls Implementation- Ability to interact with Software development team, systems administrators and management to resolve security issues- Ability to support engineering teams as an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE)- Implement STIGS on LINUX and WIN operating systems- Conduct root cause analysis of security test failures and make recommendations- Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (EMASS) Required knowledge: - Detailed understanding of DoD product and approval processes for system Assessments and Authorizations (A&A)- RMF Steps 1, 2, 3 and 4- ISSE roles and responsibilities Experience with at least 3 of the following technologies: - RedHat Enterprise Linux- VMWare/virtualization- Windows client and server- Routing (WAN/LAN)- Active Directory- Messaging services Desired: - Familiarity with IATS and DADMS/DITPRDON web registration sites- Familiarity with the SPAWAR RMF Process Guide McAfee ePO tool suite, and experience with VMWare ESX or other virtual machine solutions Applicant: - Is a US Citizen- Able to work with and lead individuals to deliver products on time and with high quality Desired Certs and Experience: - SANS IA certs- GIAC- CISSP/CASP- CISCO CCNP Education: - Desire Bachelor''s Degree in technical discipline plus 4 years of relevant experience, or commensurate experience Security Clearance: - All candidates MUST have at least an active SECRET clearance- TOP SECRET is preferred
