When you join the team at Capgemini Engineering, you can get the future you want.Title: Senior Software Engineer - Infotainment lead EngineerLocation: Detroit, MIRequired ExperienceLooking for 8-10 Yrs Exp engineerUnderstands customer use of product & customer''s journeysEnsures communication of customer problems/gaps to stakeholdersWorks across all functional areas, gathering inputs, updating product plans and roadmaps and communicating the impact of product/solution decisions to all stakeholdersAttends system demosReviews/accepts authored featuresResponsible for leading and lagging metric capture and reportingWorks with engineering, enablement team, support and other product and program managersHas a solid technical understanding of the product/program and underlying technologiesBuilds a lean UX canvas to explain the product and asks in a much easier way to the entire teamDrives agile maturity for assigned teams and shares scrum responsibilityShares the risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies with stakeholdersConsults with Product Manager to interpret strategy, milestones and goalsPrioritizes the epics of the application with Product Manager into releases that provide valueDefines the stories and specifies the acceptance criteria without imposing implementation choicesAdjusts the stories and prioritizes as per needs after every sprintKeeps stakeholders well informed of upcoming status as well as get their feedbackEnsure that the product backlog is clear, transparent and visibleEvaluate solution progress, based on value provided at each iterationWork with scrum master to establish sprint, meeting and demo cadenceParticipate in daily standups, retrospectives and demosDrive backlog grooming and sprint planningRemove blockers for team, reach out to other teams in order to coordinate deliverables and research unknowns with team as neededSoftware Engineers perform requirements analysis. They then design, develop or maintain the physical application (components) or the application environment, based on the Software Architecture (models and principles). Activities include coding, integrating, implementing, installing or changing frameworks and standard components, or technical and functional application management. A Software Engineer also develops languages, methods, frameworks and tools, and/or undertakes activities in support of server-based databases in development, test and production environments.Required Skills and Experience:You have mastered several Software Engineering areas, applications or database environments. You act as a Software Engineering stream leader with technical delivery ownership within a (limited) number of technology areas. You contribute to bids or client proposals based on your technological expertise. You also act as a team leader with delivery ownership, and guide individuals and groups towards desired outcomes. You actively participate in at least one community and contribute to community discussions. Qualification:6-8 years (2 years min relevant experience in the role) experience, Bachelor''s Degree.Certification: Should have SE Level 1 and seeking level 2.Should be proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering, Testing, Data Management, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.Capgemini Engineering is an Equal Opportunity Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
