Within the Advice and Guidance department of WMAS, the Portfolio Solutions Team is responsible for both the Advisory Solutions and Guided Solutions investment advisory platforms: Advisory Solutions has over $200 billion in client assets under care, representing approximately 15% of the firm''s total assets under care, with nearly 95% of the program in Research Models managed by the Portfolio Solutions Team. Research-driven sample portfolios of managed investments are used in Guided Solutions by financial advisors and have become more important with the firm''s focus on providing solutions-based advice. In October 2013, the firm launched the Bridge Builder Bond fund utilizing third-party money managers, with additional Bridge Builder funds launched in 2015, which is expected to become more important with the firm''s focus on providing solutions-based advice and growing the number of clients served. Today, the Bridge Builder fund complex comprises eight multi-sub-adviser mutual funds with approximately $100 billion in assets. Guided Solutions has over $250 billion in client assets under care, the bulk of which utilizes the firm''s portfolio construction resources to aide in the creation of client portfoliosThe Associate Analyst II will be responsible to:Support the Portfolio Solutions Team in assembling and reviewing investment data, conducting statistical analysis, and preparing investment recommendations.Develop the knowledge and analytical skills for investment decision-making by assisting in the asset allocation implementation, portfolio construction, and manager selection process.Deliver quality service to financial advisors and internal departments by responding to information requests.Enroll in and work towards completion of the CFA program.Qualifications Required in the Job:Finance or Accounting Bachelor''s degree and/or MBA preferredSuccessful progress towards completion of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designationSeries 7 and 66 (or 63/65 combo) required or attainable within six months of hire.Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and other software programs (Morningstar Direct, Microsoft Office, FactSet, Bloomberg, BlackRock Aladdin, etc.) Minimum Years of Experience Required 2+ years of working experience.0-2 years experience in related field required 2-4 years of experience in related field is preferred. 2021 FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work For® By Great Place to Work® and FORTUNE Magazine - Edward Jones was named No. 20 on the list.
