Susquehanna International Group (SIG) has an opening for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our compliance technology team in the Philadelphia office. The compliance technology team develops Surveillance, Monitoring and Reporting Tools for the compliance business community. This team is responsible for designing and developing tools for the oversight of SIG''s trading activities across all of our products, including options, equities, futures, fixed income, and many this role, you will be working with a team of developers, testers, and the compliance business community to develop same day surveillance and monitoring tools. You will also be working on systems that collect data from the many, varied trading systems at SIG, and tools that will allow our compliance users to access this data.SIG business analysts areCollaborators who are able to work with desk teams & to assess, understand, implement and provide guidance on requirementsPlanners who organize and facilitate the development and implementation of projects; who manage back log deployment and understand a large scale production environmentGreat communicators who effectively report on project status to all levels of staff and management regularly to increase project transparency for all participants and stakeholders Take a holistic view of systems and understand how the hardware, networking, and middleware layers integrate with software componentsWilling to assist with testing when requiredWhat we''re looking forMinimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Analysis role in IT environment with management of SDLC projects.Bachelor''s degree in a technical discipline required or other related disciplineKnowledge of relational databases (such as Oracle, SQL, MySQL) and the ability write SQL queries required Experience within trading companies or other financial institutions is a plusExcellent communication (both oral and written) and organizational skills Strong planning, estimation, and risk management skills Knowledge of any scripting or programming languages and/or Business Intelligence reporting tools (such as QlikView) a plusExperience with agile and/or waterfall project management and software development methodologiesExperience working with project tracking systems required; experience with Jira preferred - provided by Dice
