The RN MDS Coordinator assists the Administrative Director of Nursing Services with ensuring that documentation in the center meets Federal, State, and Certification guidelines. The MDS RN coordinates the RAI process assuring the timeliness, and completeness of the MDS, CAAs, and Interdisciplinary Care Plan. Location 190 - ProMedica Goerlich Memory Care Center - Sylvania, Ohio Educational Requirements Currently holds a RN - Registered Nurse license in this state. Position Requirements One year prior nursing experience preferred. Job Specific Details: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred. Excellent knowledge of Case-Mix, the Federal Medicare PPS process, and Medicaid reimbursement, as required. Thorough understanding of the Quality Indicator process. Knowledge of the OBRA regulations and Minimum Data Set. Knowledge of the care planning process.
