Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Experienced DevSecOps Software Engineer to join the Phantom Works team located in Tukwila, WA. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.We work with proprietary customers in the development of the next-generation technologies in space. Phantom Works focuses on rapid prototyping to demonstrate a host of mission-focused technologies for a variety of customers. Our group works all facets of engineering from technology investment, concept development, proposal writing, requirements and design, build, integration, test, and demonstration of products in their relevant environments. As an Experienced DevSecOps Software Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain a modern Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) system to build, test and deploy containerized micro services in a fast-paced agile environment supporting our proprietary space portfolio. We seek candidates who have proven skills in DevSecOps, software development, test automation, and system automation.Position Responsibilities: Develop and enhance our DevSecOps operations in proprietary environmentsCollaborate on idea creation and development of the DevSecOps tool chainSupport the ongoing lifecycle maintenance of the DevSecOps tool chainSupport the software quality efforts of our Boeing product deliveries to our customersCoordinate across multiple teams to ensure DevSecOps functionality integrates with overall program effortsThis position will focus on the following technology areas:Agile IaaS/PaaS product development for cloud platformsContinuous integration, testing, and delivery of software and software factoriesAutomated system testing, integration, and deploymentRolling out upgrades to the software factory as neededThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements: This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):The ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is requiredA Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics or EngineeringStrong programming skills in Java, Python, Go, and/or C++Education or experience with the Linux OSExperience with industry standard Automation and CI/CD tools and techniquesPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Familiarity with Bitbucket, Gitlab, Gitlab-CI, Confluence, Jenkins, JiraTS/SSBI highly desiredExperience in software development, systems engineering, or integration and test experience with mission systems on tactical platformsStrong Working knowledge of the CI/CD process including debugging, test, and integration of software tools.Understanding of secure software development methodologies and Security First mindset.Understanding of designing and implementing full stack/Microservice infrastructure.Understanding of Istio/Service MeshHave the ability to set up, and manage a tool-chain using tools such as Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, Artifactory, ELK, SonarQube, Jira, Prometheus, Fluentd, Helm, Terraform, Ansible, DataGrid, JBoss, Cloud Suite, OpenShift, Docker, and more.Understanding of security controls such as DoD RMF, HIPAA, or SOCThis position is best suited to individuals who are self-starters, highly-motivated, work well in fast-paced multi-discipline team environments, and are able to work with quick decisions for the best interest of the business.Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years'' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years'' related work related work experience)In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standardRelocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
