We take pride in caring for our employees while building and maintaining relationships and encouraging career growth.The Battery System Engineer is responsible for HV battery system architecture design and system requirement development for new battery pack projects based on customer requirements, including functional, performance, safety, interface, cost, and related regulations.ResponsibilitiesConduct requirement development, analysis, test specification of different subsystems, including BMS, thermal, HV distribution, structure, interface, etc.Coordinate internal and external resources for design, development, integration and validation of battery system; Interfaces with business development and project management teams to ensure alignment on project directions and plans.Lead issue trouble shooting in the field; Identify and resolve design issues and generate comprehensive technical reportsParticipate in functional safety development and process from systems to components levelParticipate advanced battery product development, benchmarking and concept design.QualificationsB. S. or M.S. degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Systems or Computer Engineering3+ years of product engineering design and development1+ years of developing HV battery projectsKnowledge or project experience of ISO26262 Functional Safety practices and process is a plusWorking knowledge of control related engineering tools like Vector CANalyzer and Matlab/Simulink Working knowledge and experience in high voltage electrical transportation, military, or grid energy storage systemsWe offer comprehensive benefits for all full-time employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) plan with employer matching; paid time off (PTO); and mentorship to help you take your career to the next level.
