We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as a Test Analyst 4 to work out of Buckley Air Force Base in Colorado. Job Summary:Conduct Operational Testing on Space-Based Infrared System (SBIRS) and/or SBIRS Survivable Endurable Evolution (S2E2) to assess system performance across entire architecture using real-world and simulated environments. Conduct operationally realistic testing in order to identify strengths and weak points in the architecture. Determine interrelationship factors that can adversely affect system effectiveness. Analyze recorded data collected during test evaluations and report out independent findings as prescribed by customer guidance. Write detailed test plans to identify data collection requirements, analysis techniques, and expected statistical outputs. Create Test Execution Procedures to clearly identify expected operator and test actions during the test events. Generate detailed test reports containing statistical results table and graphs, written findings, deficiency identification, and fielding recommendations. Direct and/or participate in all phases of test planning, test execution, and test reporting. Job location is Buckley SFB, CO with occasional travel to Schriever SFB, CO. Essential Duties: * Conduct test execution of mission systems to assess mission performance.* Build test scope using Critical Operational Issues (COIs), Objectives, Measures of Effectiveness and Suitability (MOEs/MOSs), and Measures of Performance (MOPs).* Collaborate with Space Systems Center (SSC), Delta 4, 2 SWS, and USSF/SpOC stakeholders to develop and acquire approval of test and evaluation plans.* Assist in developing operational test documentation to include: test plans, test execution procedures, data analysis plans, test reports, and required briefings.* Participate in the Integrated Test Team (ITT) and associated working groups through test planning for satellite payload, ground segment testing, leading to successful system certification and operational acceptance.* Experience with ICDs, performance specifications, and hardware diagrams.* Evaluate data and assess system performance using the collected test data, the validated truth data, and the methodologies and tools developed during test planning.* Use statistical analysis tools and methods to evaluate test data and document test results.* Collect and analyze maintenance data to determine system suitability.* Ability to develop solutions for complex technical issues with limited supervision.* Prepare evaluation results for customer review and ensure all documents and briefings comply with higher headquarters guidance.* Assist other Test Analysts by reviewing and providing comment to test briefings and documentation.* Additional duties as assigned.Required Qualifications: * Master''s degree in related field desired. 7 years of technical experience in DoD Space Domain Awareness systems and/or related systems and working knowledge of DoD or USAF/USSF Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) test design, analysis, and test reporting in operational environments is desired.* An additional five (5) years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for Craftsman education requirements, for a total of twelve (12) years of experience.Preferred Qualifications: * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook).* Crew Mission Ready (CMR) certified for SBIRS MCS and/or MCS-B highly desired.* Mission Payload Engineer (MPE) certified for SBIRS MCS and/or MCS-B highly desired.* Knowledge of SBIRS with Block 10/20 training desired; ITW/AA, S2E2, satellite and payload support, missile warning, and/or missile defense domain experience is preferred.* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).* Possess a broad understanding of statistics, including data distributions, data sampling techniques, confidence intervals and regression test techniques.* Understanding of Design of Experiments fundamentals and able to apply DOE principles to test planning and post-test data analysis methods.* Understand how to evaluate common system effectiveness and suitability factors including reliability, maintainability, and availability.* Possess working knowledge of United States Space Force/STAR Delta test and evaluation directives* Support Deficiency Report (DR) identification and resolution reporting IAW TO 00-35D-54.Required Clearance: SECRET to start, ability to obtain TOP SECRET/SCI Travel:10% All USfalcon employees are required to show proof of vaccination status at time of hire to ensure compliance with EO14042, Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors (effective December 8, 2021). In compliance with Colorado''s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $133,000-142,000; however, USfalcon considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities as well as a candidate''s work experience, knowledge, skills, education and training.
