We admit patients from community hospitals, such as Albert Einstein Medical Center and Temple University Hospital.BenefitsCompetitive compensationOpportunities for advancementPaid breaksPaid time off and holidayFull time and part time opportunitiesSupportive and friendly team to help you developDuties and Responsibilities:Responsible for making daily rounds on unit to supervise, observe, examine, interview residents, evaluate staffing needs, monitor regulatory compliance, to achieve the care environment and to evaluate staff interactions and clinical skills competency.Develops and maintains nursing policies and procedures that reflect current standards of nursing practice and facility philosophy of care consistent with state and federal laws and municates and interprets policies and procedures to nursing staff.Monitors practice for effective implementation.Establishes and implements infection control program designed to provide a safe, sanitary and comfortable environment and to prevent the development of disease and infection.Conducts infection control surveillance activities to investigate, control and prevent infections in the facility.Provides consultation to all departments on application of infection control principles and procedures to specific situations.Work Experience Requirements:Experience with Infection Control practicesKnowledge of MDS and Care Planning ProcessKnowledge of and ability to coordinate facility, state and federal criteria in evaluation of applicants for admission to facilityDemonstrated competency in the protection and promotion of Resident Rights.
