Find your future with us.The Mobility and Surveillance (M&S) Organization is seeking a Product Security Engineering Manager to lead major campaign and related project efforts within the M&S portfolio in Seattle, WA.The M&S PSE team is responsible for the security, resiliency, and safety of our products and services. The programs that we support include the E-7 Airborne Early Warning and Control, P-8 Multi-mission Maritime Patrol Aircraft, KC-46 Tanker, and Presidential Aircraft (VC-25B).This critical position will leverage and benefit from experience in program planning, organization and execution, proposals, multi-discipline engineering & analysis, strategic thinking, and talent management. In this role you will work across the M&S division, which is a dynamic and growing organization with a leadership team focused on attracting and developing top talent in support of critical missions for National Defense.You will be joining a team of Product Security Engineers and Leaders that are working across Boeing, to jointly develop best practices, techniques and tools, and a diverse technical community to draw upon to deliver best value to our customers.Position Responsibilities:In this role, you will be responsible for the project PSE team and ensure that our engineers and analysts are ready and able to deliver secure and resilient products and services to our customers. You will be a champion for M&S PSE across M&S Program and Engineering teams. Your responsibilities will include:Engineering leader responsible for ensuring engineering integrity, first time quality and efficient execution of Product Security activities through the Gated Process and active participation in major program milestones. Actively partners with program to ensure program objectives are accomplished.Provide input on M&S strategy and implementation plans that leverages Enterprise Product Security internal R&D investments to further develop M&S Product Security capabilities and bring highest value to campaigns and programs.Support hiring and developing top talent for M&S current and anticipated programs and product lines.Technical and Operational Responsibilities:The successful candidate should understand and possess demonstrable skills and experience including:Working with Risk Management Framework (RMF) plans and considerationsAttracting, developing, and retaining talentUnderstanding and experience in systems and/or software engineering, including:Development of Architecture, Requirements, Concepts of Operations, and Use CasesDevelopment of Hardware and Software productsIntegration and Unit TestVerification and ValidationTesting, including Acceptance and Fielding TestsThe ideal candidate should have a demonstrated history of performance in systems or software engineering and leadership, and operating throughout the course of the engineering or operations lifecycle. Successful candidates are highly motivated and exhibit strong written and verbal communication, inter-personal, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and effectively with external customers and subcontractors in a multi-site and multi-discipline program and environment. Experience with model-based engineering preferred. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills): Bachelor''s Degree in a field of science, engineering or technologyExperience leading employees/teams involved in multiple engineering disciplines5+ years experience working proposals and program start up activities3+ years experience developing/implementing strategic plansRelocation:This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.
