POSITION PURPOSE: A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A SKILLED CRAFTSMAN - BRANCH My position as a Skilled Craftsman is necessary to complete nationwide projects where sub-contractors are not available or budgetarily not feasible. So, my 5 years in the construction industry come as a plus, and I am able to work with little to no supervision. We are a company with a 24-7 operation, so I am willing and able to travel locally, regionally, nationally, or internationally up to 100% as business needs dictate, and I am available for emergency work after hours and on weekends, and available for emergency work after hours and on weekends. I have my own hand tools, and am p roficient in rough & finish carpentry, Drywall Installation/finishing, punch list completion, Installation of drywall including tape and texture, Painting, and Installation of interior finishes such as trim, doors, door jambs, and cabinets, Installation, and repairs to exterior finishes, I complete work orders for the daily work performed. I also oversaw sub-contractors on the job site and work that needed to be completed. I always maintain a clean and safe job site and performed tasks involving physical labor at building and construction projects, and demolition sites. I am flexible to assist the team when needed on all service lines and load and unload all building materials, machinery, and tools, and make sure that all job sites are cleaned and prepared. QUALIFICATIONS: Proficient in Rough & Finish carpentry Drywall Installation/Finishing Punch list completion Power tools will be provided, but all hand tools must be furnished by the applicant Able to work with little to no supervision 5 years in the construction industry preferred Restoration experience is preferred but will train SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Available for emergency work after hours and on weekends.
