Please visit our website at are looking for a Project Engineer who is responsible for designing and developing products from customer specifications or sales department requests. Acting as the key interface with the Customer and the Company - from the design process through large-scale construction projects. Working closely with the Sales and Production team. This position is responsible for the integration of materials, methods, and tools necessary to design and develop a product or product family. Reports to a Department Manager.Job Responsibilities (include but not limited to):Gathering information/conducting research, performing detailed analysis, documenting processes, reviewing/confirming final documents; drive the design/review of process change, assist in managing a project''s scope, acceptance, installation, and deploymentEnsure production procedures efficiently utilize materials, methods, and personnel.Work with external design resources to ensure quality design and performance.Assist in the selection of materialCollaborate with the project management team of a build to offer assistance with technical details for the design or building processCalculate the supply details for building materials and the labor requirements and determine the cost of everything to see if it falls within the budget of the projectResearch potential environmental risks and impacts from the scope of the project and develop a plan to address concernsWrite detailed summaries of project timelines, environmental impact reports, requests for proposals and other written statements for the publicStaying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systemsConducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findingsPerforming requirements analysisDocumenting and communicating the results of your effortsEffectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and managementGathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reportsProviding leadership, training, and guidance to Sales staffEnsuring solutions meet business needs and requirementsAssisting Project Manager in managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performanceUpdating, implementing, and maintaining proceduresServing as a liaison between stakeholders and usersMonitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects/activities/tasksPrioritize requirements and create conceptual deliverablesMaster strategic business process modeling, traceability, and quality management techniquesApply best practices for effective communication and problem-solvingAdditional responsibilities may be assigned to meet business needsEducation and Experience Requirements:Bachelor''s degree in engineering or related field requiredObtain a State professional engineer licenseContinue to pursue additional job-related specialized training through professional education programsStrong knowledge and work experience with a variety of the field''s concepts, practices, and proceduresExceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skillsThe ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutionsAdvanced technical skillsExcellent documentation skillsExperience creating detailed reports and giving presentationsCompetency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and OutlookA track record of following through on commitmentsExcellent planning, organizational, and time management skillsExperience leading and supporting successful projectsMaster strategic business process modeling, traceability, and quality management techniquesApply best practices for effective communication and problem-solvingRelies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsA wide degree of creativity and latitude is expectedCore Skills (include, but not limited to):Written and verbal communication, including technical writing skillsUnderstanding of system concepts; modeling techniques and methodsThe ability to conduct cost/benefit analysisBusiness case developmentLeadershipHours: 10-12, Monday- Friday; Occasional SaturdayPay: Weekly/FridayMust pass Pre-employment drug test.Not A Warehouse Job.
