Shifts are Saturday through Wednesday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM.We are located at 6140 SW Boundary St. Portland, Oregon 97221, in the Raleigh Hills area of southwest Portland. We are on bus line 54 and 56 from Portland to Beaverton.These are great steady positions at a 101-year-old organization and are the perfect jobs for friendly and reliable people who want to make a difference in senior care.Summary- The primary purpose of this position is maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dish room, food service equipment and wares used in meal preparation and service, stocking food and supply deliveries and maintaining orderliness of supplies in the storeroom, walk-ins and freezer and restocking of dishwashing supplies and cleaning agentsRecords temperatures of wash and rinse cycles of dish machines.Cleans dishware storage carts, meal carts, utility carts and supplement carts.Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing silverware, glassware, dishes, utensils, pots and pans, and other equipment used in meal preparation.Stores dishware and equipment upside down in the correct location according to the principles of anizes, checks and restocks dishwashing supplies, and kitchen cleaning and sanitizing agents in each dish room and the janitor forms Food Service Director when supplies are low.Disposes of garbage, recycling and compost properly.Here are some reasons you will want to work at Cedar Sinai Park (CSP)!CSP is a non-profit, community-based, residential senior living, skilled nursing and long-term care organization with a dedicated workforceSafety is our 1 priority. Qualifications include:Must obtain a Food Handler''s Card for the State of Oregon within 30 days of hire. Must be able to read, and follow oral and written instructions given in English. Must be able to understand and record temperatures of the dish machine. Must be able to follow instructions. Must be able to learn how to run the dishwasher and to keep the kitchen organized according to the laws of Kashruth.
