Image Scientist, Senior with Security Clearance

Job Number: R0142899 Image Scientist, SeniorKey Role: Work with a team of analysts and engineers to analyze and develop Geospatial solutions and product specifications. Research and verify image collection systems and define and develop processing and dissemination computer algorithms to make sure our clients have the timely information they need. Use your expertise to d evelop req uirements analysis, sub-system architectures, and integrate new image- processing technology systems. Design, develop, and analyze systems and algorithms for the extraction of information from sensors. Apply technologies, including remote sensing, detection and estimation theories, morphological processing, speech processing, neural networks, and implementation of processing with advanced computer architectures. Basic Qualifications: * Experience in image science analysis, processing, quality, artifact recognition, and phenomenology * Experience with MATLAB and generating associated code * Experience in supporting and performing analysis of system products, load level, and GEOINT processing to determine disparities, performing anomaly and artifact isolation, and trend various anomalies and artifacts throughout the entire product life cycle * Experience in an in-depth analysis of anomalous products and evaluation of system processing algorithms * Experience in the development of potential solutions or mitigation techniques * Knowledge of the physics of electro-optic sensors, modulus transfer functions, and its Fourier transformation of the point-spread-function * Knowledge of ground truth and energy in the bandpass, lumens, and total integrated energy from light sources * Knowledge of TCPED and its impacts on imagery * TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph * HS diploma or GED Additional Qualifications: * Experience with multispectral systems and or hyperspectral systems * Bachelor''s degree Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS / SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
