Overview SUMMARY:The Regional Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for protecting the assets of the company utilizing existing LP and Store Operations processes. This position is part of the Loss Prevention Department and reports to the Director of Loss Prevention.This position will support our Eastern US region and will be based on the East Coast. ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:Provide partnership, leadership, and direction to field personnel in all areas of asset protection, safety, and operational compliance.Respond to theft, safety, and security incidents in assigned region in a timely manner.Collaborate with field teams to identify and resolve challenges adversely impacting Boot Barn business interests caused by inventory shrink, employee theft, shoplifting, receiving paperwork errors, and supplier fraud.Execute programs to aid in the reduction of inventory and controllable losses to meet profit margins at assigned locations.Implement and maintain high shrink target store plan to alleviate shrinkage in at-risk areas and train store personnel on shrink reduction strategies. Train store personnel on physical inventory processes. Supervise preparation efforts for physical inventory counts.Drive operational compliance in assigned region through training and in-store audits. Conduct store audits to assess operational and safety compliance within company policies and procedures. Report audit findings to store leadership and implement changes as needed. Assist field teams in designing action plans to establish compliance where needed.Ensure compliance and proper use of all asset protection tools. This includes CCTV, POS Exception Reporting, LP Software, alarm pass codes, safe combinations, security passwords, and other security controls. Utilize these tools reduce shrink and risk exposure and support building vestigate, interview, and resolve all issues related to internal and external theft in the vestigate online marketplaces to recover assets and collaborate with law enforcement to resolve investigations. Utilize exception reporting system to identify internal theft and fraud. Investigate and process cases as per company policy.Design store physical security layouts for LP related systems. This includes new and existing stores. Systems will include CCTV, EAS, Burglar, Gates, and Access Control.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and managementDemonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearanceAdheres to all Company Policies & Procedures and Safety RegulationsAdheres to local, state and federal lawsPerforms any other duties that may be assigned by managementUnderstands and complies with all company rules and regulations QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of 5 years of multi store Loss Prevention field management.Bachelor''s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.Wicklander-Zulawski certification or equivalent preferred.Experience conducting and closing investigations within a retail environment.Ability to utilize EBR (exception based reporting) systems.Strong computer skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office preferred.Solid understanding of retail business intelligence reporting for sales and metric related data which includes key sales drivers, conversion rates, etc.Capable of communicating clearly both verbally and in writing.Strong interpersonal skills. Able build and maintain productive working partnerships with field teams.
