Extrusion manager

Exlabesa Extrusion Tifton is currently looking for someone for the production department. We are looking for someone who has a passion for this field and would like to join a fun and growing the company in USA.This position is responsible for providing guidance, support and mentorship to all employees in the Extrusion department, it''s also responsible for achieving short and long-term strategic goals to ensure growth of the department and organization.This person will be required to:- Provide overall leadership that ensures and includes:o exhibit active leadership in order to support the company''s vision and strategieso implement department goals and key measures that align with the mission, vision and values of the organizationo promote and support a safe and organized working environmento build strong relationships throughout the company in order to best serve and support co-workers and employees.- Ensure that team members follow all company policies, practices and procedures (safety, quality, COTD)- Guarantee production of the highest possible quality products, at the lowest possible cost- Facilitates change and drives continuous improvement from experiments to systematic, sustainable processes.- Supports other Managers, Supervisors, and Team Members:o Manage the department''s labor and expense budgeto Identify and implement methods for reducing costso Communicate priorities, tasks, expectations and responsibilities.o Ensure the quality of aluminum extrusions meets company standardso Provide coaching, training and growth opportunities of Team Members.o Participate in the selection process for department.- Meeting and exceeding customer expectations.- Keep other departments informed of any delays or changes in scheduled arrival times of products required by the department.- Involvement in critical business decisions and capital requisition projects, analyze department data to make improvement recommendations.- Respond to emergency situations during and after standard hours to resolve issues that may arise- Support and improve quality systems and expectationsEducation:* Associates or Bachelors degree in business management or related program preferred.Experience:* At least 5 years of manufacturing experience required, preferably in the Aluminum Extrusion Industry; Strong knowledge and understanding of all key extrusion department components; Leadership experience required.Other required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:* Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Excel.* Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate on all levels.
