Are you willing to join a team to help solve challenges in a team environment using your Electronics Engineering background and experience? This position needs a skilled engineer in the areas of electronics design. As an Electronics Engineer for Special Programs, you will: • Lead the design, production, and deployment of a complex command and telemetry ground support system. • Design consists of equipment to execute test scripts and issue commands, format for a network, and control remote ground equipment to test flight hardware. The design includes issuing direct commands to flight hardware through an umbilical digital interface as well as ingesting telemetry from flight hardware, processing, archiving, and displaying it. YOU WILL TYPICALLY HAVE:• 14 - 20 years of professional experience for this role. • This position requires a Top Secret clearance to be considered thus US Citizenship is required. Please contact us to request accommodation.Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor''s degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. • Experience with circuit design, troubleshooting and / or circuit analysis. • Must have an active DoD Top Secret or higher clearance to be considered, thus US Citizenship is required.Desired Skills:• Experience in umbilical interfaces and commanding to flight hardware.• Experience with formatting command and telemetry data between serial and packetized data.• Knowledge of automatic fault design to protect flight hardware. • Understanding of network design.• Knowledge of front-end and back-end processors (i.e. RTLogic and Amergint).• Experience with cryptographic equipment integrated in ground support equipment.• Experience with LabView.• Understanding of flight bus architecture.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.Qualifications Lockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
