The position will support design, development, and integration of avionic systems and/or communication systems for a space application. We will consider a variety of backgrounds, so be sure to apply today to be considered!Position Responsibilities Analyzes and translates system requirements into avionics systems and/or communication systems hardware and software product requirements and interface specificationsWorks with suppliers to develop and document aviation systems and/or communication system product requirementsDevelops trade studies, analyzes results, and performs design reviewsMonitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirementsDelivers avionics systems and/or communication system and sub-systems products and supports system-level integrationConducts tests and validates electrical system to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirementsMust possess good organizational, interpersonal, and problem solving skillsMust have demonstrated a strong work ethic and sense of urgency for completing assigned work with a history of meeting commitmentsAbility to adjust priorities to multiple demands and unanticipated eventsThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically depending on business needs.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) Must have a Bachelor''s, Master''s, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistryAbility to obtain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance post start2 years or more of electronic systems engineering experiencePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Experience working with aerospace platforms and/or programsElectrical Engineering degreeSpace-related product / program experience (i.e. satellites, spacecraft, missile systems, etc.)Communication systems (microwave and optical) experienceAn Active Top Secret clearance or SSBI Tier 5 within the past 5 yearsTypical Education/Experience P2Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years'' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.P3Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years'' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years'' related work experience).
