System test QA Engineer

This role requires candidate to be involved in testing the new and existing capabilities using a variety of testing methods ranging from manual to automated testing. This person will ensure high quality delivery of business-critical products and solutions used for warehouse automation and logistics. This is the perfect opportunity for the successful candidate to join an innovative and energetic team that helps deliver a high-quality product line that plays a critical role in our customers supply chain.Responsibilities:This person will work with SQA team in helping to validate the quality of the Client software which will be rolled out in our customer environmentsWork in a cross-functional collaborative environment and work with members of SQA, software development, business analysis, and project management, and other organizations.This software will ultimately control our fleets of mobile robots and industrial systems. This person must be comfortable working in a cross-collaborative environment and will be working with other SQA professionals as well as software, systems, and controls engineersHave a strong desire to work within a distributed architecture, and associated data. This will be in a C, C++, and multi-threaded / multi-processor environmentInstall, configure, and validate a complex software stack across multiple environmentsDevelop a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end design and operations of the systemExecute manual test cases and records the resultsExecute automated testsModify existing test cases or writes new test cases for limited scenariosSubmit, track, and verify defects through the software development lifecyclePlan testing activities for large subsystems or small releasesTravel to customer sites to provide engineering supportCollect and analyze customer functional requirements for assisting in creation of Functional and Automation test strategiesQualificationsBachelor''s degree in Computer Science or related field2- 8 years of experience in SQA or relevant fieldBasic understanding of software testing practicesExperience working with hardware and/or hardware emulators is a plusFamiliarity with SQL, XML, JSON, and C is a plusFamiliarity with microservice architecture and technologies like Kubernetes, Ansible, and Helm are a plusShould be able to work in a fast-paced environment and support unscheduled eventsAbility to prioritize multiple simultaneous issues and tasksCapability to work independently, take initiative with minimal supervisionExcellent verbal and written communication, active listening, and interpersonal skillsExperience working with Agile development methodology - provided by Dice
