We are currently seeking a Mid-Level Cryptocurrency SME to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US). The candidate will support the government client''s law enforcement and investigative efforts to help combat drug trafficking. A variety of skills and experienced personnel are required in the areas of Asset Forfeiture, Domestic and Transnational Organized Crime, White Collar Crime, Money Laundering, Cyber Crimes, and Illegal Trade Financing. Specifically, we are seeking a Cryptocurrency Subject Matter Expert (SME) to assist with this effort. Job Duties:Crypto-Currency SME knowledge and responsibilities include Cryptocurrency analysis; Blockchain analytics; Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) to include social media, Deep and Dark Web intelligence gathering and analysis; data analytics; and electronic evidence analysis related to cybercrime investigations.The contractor shall also be required to develop training and certification for the Government on this specialized area.The candidate shall demonstrate current industry practices in this emerging technology including obtainment of relevant, current training and certification. Basic Qualifications:Minimum 6 years of experience as Financial Investigator (FI), Investigative Analyst (IA), Seized Property Investigator (SPI), Legal Advisor (LA), Forensic Accountant (FA) and/or Computer Forensic Examiner (CFE).Minimum 3 years of experience working/supporting investigations as a Cryptocurrency SMEMinimum 6 years of experience developing training and/or certifications on these complex, specialized topics.Minimum 6 years of experience with international and regional Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions regulations and guidance such as Bank Secrecy Act (US) and US Patriot ActA Bachelor''s degree in Writing, Analysis, Finance, Legal, Criminal Justice or a comparable field or equivalent combination of education and work experienceAbility to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Preferred Qualifications:Certification(s) from accredited institutions in areas of financial fraud, investigation, cryptocurrency, and/or open-source intelligence (OSINT).Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification, or other similar industry-recognized professional certfication Master''s degree in Writing, Analysis, Finance, Legal, or Criminal Justice or equivalent combination of education and work experienceSecret security clearance or higherExceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information accurately, clearly, and quickly to all levels.
